Tree Chic is Back! Link to Purchase Tickets

By Susan McGeorge

April 5, 2023: The Tree House Bereavement Center of Westchester, a nonprofit organization that supports grieving children and their families, is thrilled to welcome back its iconic Tree Chic event held in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue.

This year's Tree Chic will take place at the Saks Flagship on April 18th from 6-8PM and will have more glitz and glamour than ever.

The evening will be a vision in pink featuring pink boas, pink cocktails and a pink handbag raffle.

The show itself will feature four looks: day-to-day, spring transition, summer dressing and aspirational runway. The evening will also for the first time feature chic wear for men!

This year's Tree Chic is once again co-chaired by MK O'Shaughnessy and Betsy Putnam, whose husband Ian Putnam is a senior executive at the parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue. "We are thrilled for the return of Tree Chic after a pandemic-induced hiatus. We are especially grateful to Saks for hosting this incredibly fun and fashionable event that, as an added bonus, supports our mission to help grieving children," said Betsy.

MK O’Shaughnessy, who is also chair of the Tree House Fund Board, is thrilled to have friends of the Tree House like the Putnams and Saks Fifth Avenue. “Saks goes above and beyond with this event. It just keeps getting bigger, better and more chic every year! We are so thankful for their generosity,” said MK.

Bronxville Public Library

The Bronxville Public Library traces its origins back to 1875, when it was a small lending library housed in a room attached to the “Bronxville Model School.” The Library was officially chartered in 1906 and moved into the Village Hall Building. The needs of the library grew with the town and, in 1942, a new standalone building was erected, which is where the Library is today. Over the years, the Library was renovated and expanded to meet the needs of the community.

The Library has wonderful resources for adults and children and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. The Library also houses a fine art collection, consisting principally of Bronxville painters and sculptors.

The Library offers special events, art exhibitions, and programs for adults, young adults and children. All events are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
